About Us
The name “ORU” comes from the Japanese word oru, meaning “to weave.” It symbolizes the beautiful interweaving of cultures, experiences, and emotions coming together to create stories that are both moving and meaningful.
Our travel programs are carefully designed to blend nature, tradition, and moments of deep reflection.
Rather than offering just surface level sightseeing, we guide you through experiences that help you truly connect with Japanese culture step by step. Through these moments, we hope you’ll not only discover Japan but also discover something new within yourself.
Take the first step on a journey of self-discovery with us.

Founder
Fumio Arima
In his business career, he traveled extensively worldwide and ventured into entrepreneurship in the past. Despite facing setbacks and preaching the "when you fall down, just pick yourself up and retry", he persevered. After retiring from an executive position at a trading company, he questioned himself about what he could do to ensure that people could fully express their unique talents and connect that power from the local level to the strength of Japan as a whole. This led him to establish ORU Corporation in April 2025.
